Sonya earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where her leadership and dedication to service were evident through her roles as Vice President of the South Asian Law Students Association and Secretary of the Child, Family, and Elder Law Society. During law school, she gained invaluable hands-on experience as a clinical student in the Barton Child Law & Policy Center and contributed to justice at the highest level by writing amicus briefs for the U.S. Supreme Court through the Emory Law Supreme Court Advocacy Program. Her commitment to public service was recognized with the prestigious “Pro Bono Publico” Medal, and she also earned Emory Law’s Transactional Law Certificate from the Center for Transactional Law and Practice.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate with a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas, Sonya is currently admitted to the Georgia Bar and will sit for the Pennsylvania Bar in July 2025, further solidifying her ability to serve our clients with excellence.
Beyond her professional achievements, Sonya is a devoted animal lover who finds joy in spoiling her four beloved cats—Hamilton, Totoro, Jellybean, and Rosemary.
