Before joining Quinn Law Group, Karla served as a prosecutor for Montgomery County, Pennsylvania where she grew up and continues to reside. During her time at the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, she quickly rose through the ranks, ultimately serving as the Captain of the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Unit where she prosecuted large-scale narcotics trafficking cases. In that role, she oversaw a team of attorneys and assisted law enforcement partners with complex criminal investigations. Before becoming a trial captain, Karla specialized in prosecuting sexual assaults, crimes against children, and domestic violence. Karla has successfully prosecuted cases to verdict, ranging from homicides to major felonies. Her extensive experience with trauma-informed advocacy now guides her work representing clients who have suffered injuries due to negligence.
Known for her meticulous preparation and persuasive advocacy, Karla approaches each case with both empathy and determination. She believes that every client deserves to have their story heard and to be treated with dignity throughout the legal process. Her ability to connect with juries and translate complex issues into compelling narratives makes her a formidable advocate in personal injury litigation.
Karla earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude,from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and co-founded Law Students Against Sexual Violence. She earned her Bachelor or Science in Psychology and Politics, magna cum laude, from Ursinus College, where she served as a Title IX Education Associate.
When she is not advocating for her clients, Karla enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Alfie.
