Britney graduated cum laude from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies, but her real education came from working directly with people who needed legal help and couldn’t afford to wait. Before joining our firm, she spent time at Centro Legal de la Raza providing legal assistance to tenants facing eviction—helping people fight to keep roofs over their heads. She drafted demand letters, filed court pleadings, and kept everything organized and on deadline. Zero missed court dates. That’s not luck; that’s discipline.
She also worked with Community Solutions, supporting immigrant survivors of domestic violence. Britney conducted trauma-informed interviews, drafted petitions for restraining orders, and helped clients navigate a legal system that can feel overwhelming even when you’re not dealing with trauma. Every single client she worked with secured a temporary restraining order. That’s a 100% success rate, which is remarkable when you’re working with people whose lives are genuinely in danger.
During her time with the SJSU Record Clearance Project, Britney helped individuals clear eligible criminal convictions so they could move forward with their lives—find jobs, housing, and a fresh start. She achieved a 100% grant rate from the courts and trained other student volunteers on legal research and petition drafting, because she’s the kind of person who doesn’t just do the work—she teaches others how to do it right.
Britney also interned at the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office in California, where she translated legal documents, summarized jail calls in English and Spanish, and managed criminal case databases with perfect accuracy. She’s worked both sides—prosecution and defense, criminal and civil—which gives her a well-rounded perspective on how the legal system actually works.
What makes Britney exceptional at her job is her ability to meet people where they are. She understands that calling a lawyer is intimidating, that paperwork is confusing, and that when someone’s hurt or scared, they need more than just legal expertise—they need someone who genuinely cares and will keep them informed every step of the way. That’s compassion and straight talk in action, two of Quinn Law Group’s core values that Britney lives out every day.
Britney is proud to be part of a firm that fights for people who’ve been harmed by someone else’s negligence, and she brings the same relentless energy to case management that she brought to every other fight she’s been part of. Whether it’s coordinating medical records, staying on top of deadlines, or just checking in to make sure a client knows what’s happening with their case, Britney makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.
If you need someone who speaks your language—literally and figuratively—and who will fight to make sure your voice is heard, that’s Britney.
